
Churros with Chocolate Dip
Ingredients
- 10 grams FiberCreme
- 125 grams all-purpose flour
- 250 ml water
- 25 grams butter
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 eggs lightly beaten
Dipping Sauce Ingredients
- 45 grams FiberCreme
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 35 grams dark chocolate compound, finely chopped
- 150 ml water
Instructions
- Churros : Boil water, butter, sugar, and salt together until fully dissolved and starting to boil.
- Add FiberCreme while stirring continuously, then add flour and stir quickly until well combined. Turn off the heat and transfer the dough into a mixing bowl.
- Pour in the beaten eggs and mix until well incorporated.
- Place the dough into a piping bag fitted with a star tip
- Pipe the dough into hot oil, cutting into 5–8 cm lengths. Fry until golden brown on all sides. Repeat until all dough is used or pan is full.
- Dipping Sauce : Heat water until warm, add cornstarch, sugar, cocoa powder, and FiberCreme. Stir until dissolved and starting to boil.
- Add the chopped chocolate and stir until melted and well mixed. Turn off the heat.
- Serve churros with the chocolate dipping sauce.
