FiberCreme teamed up with Siloam Hospital to celebrate the World Health Day last month. Supporting the World Health Organization (WHO) in raising awareness of healthy lifestyle, we had a health talk and cooking demo titled “Healthy Digestion Optimizes Wellness”. This event took place in Siloam Kebon Jeruk in Jakarta on April 30th, 2024.
This event came from FiberCreme’s concern about healthy issues stemming from lack of fiber consumption. According to data of Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) from the Ministry of Health 2018, 93,5% of Indonesians had difficulties meeting the required daily fiber intake of 30 grams per day.
Through the activity with Siloam, FiberCreme highlighted the importance of having enough fiber for our overall health. Taking the stage for the educational talk show were dr. Ferica Valentine, SpdPD as an internist of Siloam Hospitals of Kebon Jeruk, and Priscilla Zefanya as a nutritionist of FiberCreme.
Dr. Ferica Valentine stated that consuming nutrition and fiber-packed healthy foods should be done on a daily basis. “Fiber is very important. Don’t just eat to fill your stomach. You also need to consider meals that could help meet your dairy fiber needs so you can keep your digestion healthy,” she told audience.
